ASTRO secure encryption offers enhanced digital encryption technology that takes full advantage of the ASTRO radio's IMBE (Improved Multi-Band Excitation) digital voice capabilities. With ASTRO's secure encryption utilizing an already digitized signal, ASTRO is able to provide the same high quality audio for both clear and secure-encrypted communications.
